Pre dva meseca PlayStation je najavio pretumbavanje svojih pretplatničkih servisa koji će spojiti veliki katalog igara i game streaming od PlayStation Now u već popularni servis PlayStation Plus koji je do sada omogućavao igračima da pristupe online serverima.  Novi PlayStation Plus će od ovog leta biti ponuđen u tri nivoa ponude (redovni PS+ Basic za $60€ godišnje, veća ponuda besplatnih igara u PS+ Extra za $100€ godišnje, i retro katalozi+game streaming+game trial igre u PS+ Premium za $120€ godišnje).

Sada kada su  ovi novi nivoi PS+ ponude svega par nedelja pre svoje premijere, Sony je objavio početnu listu igara koju će igrači moći da pristupe. Podsetimo se još jednom Extra nivo će igračima dodati pristup PS4 i PS5 igraema, dok će Premium nivo otključati i retro naslove iz još ranijih konzola. Spisak nije pun i predstavlja samo početnu ponudu koja će biti proširena ne samo na premijeri servisa, već će biti i menjana tokom godina rada PlayStation Plus-a. Kao poseban bonus, Ubisoft je ponudio nekoliko svojih kasičnih naslova.
